Philanthropy : Our way of life

Aware of our responsibility to the society that we live in and of which we are an inseparable part, the hospital all along been responsive to the expectation of the general public.

Medical Camps

We have been quite active in organising medical camp of various types and needs. In all we held more than 35 free eye camps in association with the Lion’s clubs International. In these camps hundreds of patients were treated and hundreds of free Cataract Surgeries were conducted. We regularly conduct Diabetic camps, diabetic awareness classes, blood grouping camp, Orthopaedics medical camps, Life style disease awareness classes in association with N.S.S and youth clubs recognised by Nehru Yuva Kendra.
An area where we bestowed our services was the conduct of to promote the awareness of and detections of breast cancer and cervical cancer. These cancer awareness classes for women were held in association with the Lion’s clubs under the facility of our Gynaecology department.

Covid Vaccination

Programs were conducted in association with Government for Doctors and health workers and Senior citizens. We have participated in First, Second , Third phases and booster dose phase of covid vaccination. More than thirty thousand doses were given both paid and free doses.

Government Health scheme

In 2008 – 2009 hospital was empanelled in Rastriya Swasthya Bima Yogana (RSBY) Scheme, a free health insurance project of Union and State government aimed to promote health for Below – Poverty – Line (BPL) population. Under this Scheme more than 2000 free deliveries and hundreds of free operations were conducted. Present name of this scheme is Ayushman Bharath PMJAY – KASP. Till now more than 10000 patients were benefited with a cost exceeding 100 millions. Out of this cost 50 -55 % is hospital contribution and rest is from insurance.
